I'm pretty sure that each of the wires had a line on them. On the front left one had a red line and the other had a black line on it. I noticed that most of the lines had had black lines, but the other lines always had a different color on them

On the front left, I think the colors were green. I'm pretty sure that both wires had lines on them. One wire had a red pin stripe and the other had a black. Infact I noticed all the wires had a black pin stripe. The other wires the color varied.

Check by using a DVM, hope that you have one.
The DVM is a digital volt meter.
You can buy it new for under 35 dollars.
Set DVM on OHM(the horseshoe sign) around 500 or under.
Connect black lead to black socket and red lead to red socket of DVM.
Turn on DVM
Disconnect Car Battery, negative post.
Touch black lead to ground(metal of car) and the red lead to wire to locates grounding wire. When meter reads "OOO", that's ground wire.
You can use that mode for checking open circuit(broken wire) or closed circuit(shorted wire).

Hope they are helpful.

Usually power is the wire that is solid colour. The ground or NEG- wire has a trace on it

Multiple codes on 2002 dodge durango

This many codes sounds like a wiring issue. You need to inspect all the wiring. If you have rabbits in your area, they eat wires. If not then it is likely to be a corroded or loose ground. You need to get a wiring diagram etc.

Dodge durango p0123

A P0123 code means that the computer has detected that the TPS (throttle position sensor) is reporting too high a voltage.

A code P0123 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • TPS not mounted securely
  • TPS circuit short to ground or another wire
  • Faulty TPS
  • Damaged computer
If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.

You can buy adaptor plugs that allow a simple hook up at most car stereo places.  However, when you increase the power going to the speakers you also have to replace the speakers to handle the higher power or you'll toast them.

2002 dodge durango fuse keeps blowing for turning signals

You have a ground problem. Somewhere on the wiring, usually where there is a bind of many cables zip tied together heat from a hot lead wire has cause it to melt another wire which is grounding itself with your other wire causing your bulb to burn or a fuse to pop. Check your wiring...this is going to be pain staking but it will solve your issue. This is the cheapest way to troubleshoot the problem. If your turn signals are parallel to each other check the other bulb, maybe that could be your culprit as well. Change both light bulbs first before you check all the wiring. Cheapest first, let me know. Gabe
