Inserted the new super mario game, then had to update the wii console,then we were able to play the game. turned it off and came bak an hour later, now it wont play any games says"error remove dis and turn power off" it is not chipped and has only had bought games played on it.

It sounds as if the disk reader is damaged, or if the disks that won't play are damaged themselves.

Are you playing Super Mario Smash Brothers?

could be played to much or the disk might be scrached.

maybe you will just need to get new controlers or a new game!!!

It is because you need to do the following things:
unplgg the wii consol.
Then wait 10 minutes.
Plug back up.
Then if still shows call nintendo

Try updating your Wii in the Settings menu, you will have to have a Wifi connecting to do this. If you do not have WiFi in your house can update your console via a New Release Wii Game such as Mario Kart

Most new games like Mario Kart or Madworld must have the 4.0 update to be played

Hello my name is Tim Ehrhart, Not all game cube games are compatible with the wii and some need a update to work, to do this update connect to the net using your wii and then put the game in. Most game cube games do work but unfortnately not all do. Please leave me feed back as I am new and need to build a good rep. Take care and feel free o ask me any more questins you have.

Check the system menu for any system updates.

Maybe the Nintendo Wii overheated because you played with it for too much. Give it a rest and go back to it later.
