Hi rakib_050415

The problem you are having doesn't have anything to do with the motherboard. When Windows dumps out and starts that memory to disk, then you either have a bad hard drive or bad memory that's causing you the problem. Once in a while it can be the CPU, but I'd say 1 out of 20,000. To find out I'm going to send you to two different places to download some software to test both. First to test your memory go HERE. They are all free programs, so pick which one you want and download it, and read the instructions and run it. Then to test your hard drive. After you've finished that test, then go to HERE and again, download whichever one you want and follow the instructions and run the test. It's not going to repair either the memory or hard drive. You will need to go out and replace it. Now if you find that you've run both tests and neither show and problems, then you have something else wrong with your computer software, not hardware. It could be something you just recently downloaded, that has messed up your registry. The list can go on, but for now, try the most probable before you jump into insanity.

Good Luck, and please post back what your results are.

Thanks

Mark

Could you please provide me the exact error message?

However to stop the system shutdown first follow these steps.

Disable automatic system restart.

1. Restart the computer and press the f8 key to open the Advanced Boot Options menu.
2. Select the Disable automatic restart on system failure option.
3. Restart the computer to accept this change.
Then go to safe mode

This problem occurs after a memory dump file (error log file) is written by Windows XP. Because the memory dump file flag not reset in Windows XP the memory dump file will contiue to be written every time Windows is restarted.

1. Restart the computer and immediately press f8 repeatedly. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode and then press enter .
2. Click Start , right-click Computer , and then select Properties .
3. Click Advanced system settings , grant permission to continue if prompted, and then click the Advanced tab.
4. On the Advanced tab, click Settings
  1. In the Virtual Memory section, click Change .
  2. For Paging file size for selected drive, click No Paging File , and then click Set .
  3. Click Yes after the following warning appears:
If the paging file on volume X: has an initial size of less than xx megabytes, then the system may not be able to create a debugging information file if a STOP error occurs. Continue anyway?
(X is the drive letter and xx is the amount of RAM installed on your computer minus 1 megabyte.)
  1. Click System Managed Size .
  2. Click OK four times to return to the Windows Desktop Screen and then restart.
For more information plz check the below doc from HP.
I hope this will definitely resolve your issue.
If not plz get back with the exact error message so I can give you better solution on this.
If you find this helpful then Plz vote for me..Dreamkam

Computer restarting again and again and shows a blue screen with "Beginning dump of physical memory." Also when i scan the system using kaspersky internet security antivirus it got restarted and i couldn't...

sometimes it happen because you have installed a driver recently and it is creating a havoc there. try to run in safe mode and restore the configuration to the previous one.

other options, is that a memory went bad. try to read what error is telling before the beginning dump of physical memory.

if one bank of memory is bad, try running your computer with one of the banks at the time.

it's a long shot but you can try to boot into the recovery console it you have the original operating disks press the letter "R" for repair and go onto the recovery console and trying a "fixboot" command at the command prompt. this has worked for me about 25% of the time

BSOD- STOP error message

most bios updates are found on the compaq website, they need to usually uncompress to a 3.5 floppy or they are auto-installing programs u get from the website, your issue however sounds to me more like a corrupted version of windows, did you try a fresh installation with the recovery cds or master disks?

Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for running Windows XP if this is an upgrade - I had a computer that technically met the requirements, but boy did it run slow after I upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP. If your hard drive contains no programs, information that you can live without, then you can completely reformat the hard drive and start over from scratch. If it does contain important programs, burn them to CD or DVD - and make sure that your computer can read the files after you are done burning - and then reformat your hard drive.
