Question about Heating & Cooling
My Buck stove 27000 has blower problems. It works fine on manual (which is too high/hot for the room) and sometimes it works OK on auto. But sometimes when on auto, it works intermittently. It won't come on sometimes at all or it will keep turning on and then off after only a few seconds and keep doing that every minute or so (very annoying). I try running it on manual for a while and then switching to auto to no avail. I thought it might be the thermostat but I am not sure if that would work sometimes and not other. Also, I think this model may have multiple thermostats and/or some sort of thermodisks so I am not sure what I should try and repair/replace. Also, could it be the switch that is bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
John, there are several switches on the heater,an air flow switch, a high temp cutout switch on burner housing, so the heater don't get to hot, there is another disc switch by the vent, It may just need a good cleaning throughout, check flame sense probe/wire,circuit board
