Question about Marvel 60RDE-BB-F/60RDE-WW-F Compact Refrigerator
Doesnt seem to be getting cold. The letter "L" appears in the display
Are you sure this is an 60RDE and not a 60RD? I don't remember the "L" code for the new control/display. The older unit (pre-2007) would show an "L" for compressor lock-out. The newer display normally shows codes like "E1, E2 through E4" which stand for compressor high/low amps, Condensor fan low/high amps, Control thermsitor failure and display thermsitor failure" in that order. I would call the factory at 800-223-3900 (8:00 to 5:00 EST) and ask for technical assistance. Talk to Tim Malloy or Ron Peterson (first contact). If they can't help you ask for John Damouth (the engineer who knows those controls better than anyone)
In the meantime...try a power reset (turn off the circuit breaker or un plug it for 10 seconds). If it resets it could be a loose connection somewhere. If not....well hopefully they can help you with that.
