Question about Sony Handycam DCR-TRV118 Camcorder
I need help quickly, I borrowed a friend's camera for a project, its an old Sony Handycam TRV118 Hi8 thing, and now I don't know how to get the footage from the camera onto the computer so I can edit it. Editing is a must - and soon. I think there's a USB port, but I can't find an online manual to tell me where, and I just can't find the port. There's a port for the charger, can a firewire go in there?
Help - I'm a first time camera user! I just need to get the footage onto the computer!
Look at the side of the camera where the strap is. on the side of the light actually where the tape area opens up there should be a small plastic piece you can open there is your usb port.
