Please connect your phone with PC using the cable provided Open the PC Sync software that you installed through the Disc supplied with Phone. A dialogue box will open on pc asking for synchronization options. Choose synchronise contacts.
After a while it is done.
You can see all your contacts in your outlook contacts.
Acquire the appropiate USB cable to connect between the phone and computer. Once this is achived, the computer should respond to the new infrustructure setup either requesting further responses from the user or simply nothing is display soon after cable connection between devices. However, surf the internet at the phone manufacturers website to acquire the softwares that compliment the synchronisation process. Once downloading the software onto the computer, the program should provide the steps of phone restoration amongs several features of functionalities. Refer to the phones user guide on compartibility requirements since some computer systems simple are not compartible for depending on modernisation reasons or update required to be performed on the computer instead.
I had the same problem. It was caused by the phone waiting for the date to be entered (even though it was already done). To get over the problem click on the multitask icon on the phone (top right). If anything is running other than "Home Screen" and "Menu" click on the application and close it. PC synchronisation should strat to work now.
Try right click on the Hot-Sync icon, on the Taskbar and select Custom then select Address book and change the Action to Synchronise the files. You might have to use Windows Explorer to view your contact. I'm not 100% sure about this one but try it anyway.
You need to load the Samsung PC Suite on to the computer first and then synchronise the phone and computer. I've backed up all my videos and photos this way. Just be careful if you synchronise your contacts as you may end up with your contacts listed twice!
Yes you can.
I have been doing this with Palm Pilots and Treos since they were originally invented.
In particular I run a great application called Mobipassword that synchronises a password file on both computers.
However for the first time when I converted to a Treo 650 I am having a subtle problem where any information I add on my home computer will synchronise to my Treo, but won't then appear on my work computer. (The reverse works perfectly.)
I have spent literally hours with the PalmOne help desk but they are worse than useless, so I have posted a question on this forum to see if anyone here can help me.
I am sure my problem is something specific to me, so you should have no problem. (I never have in the past.)
