Question about Olevia LT27HVX 27 in. LCD Television
Olevia 242fhd-t11 Will not turn on , I have checked all outlets, they are plugged in correctly to a power strip.
Everything else on the power strip works.
I switched plug location on power strip, still does not turn on.
The back of the TV is plugged in tight.
I flipped on and off the switch in the back, still no power.
I am guessing that since you are checking other outlets that you are getting no STB light or anything. So you will want to start by looking at the SMPS on the unit and see if the 5A 250V fuse is blown or not. If it is blown then you can try replacing it but I would bet that it will just blow again. So you need to replace the SMPS

Use an ohm meter to check the fuse. you should get 0.00 ohms or if you have a digital multimeter, set it on diode which is also a continuity tester you should get a steady beep if the fuse is good.
