The check filter light, is default message LG was put in place. No problem there. As for the clothes, I'd need some more infomation, what settings are you using on your dryer? I'll need to know if your using sensor dry, or manual dry.

Electric dryer heats up and blows air but doesnt dry my clothes

I would check to see that the lint/filter isn't completely clogged up. This could make the dryer warm without allowing it to do its job of drying the clothes.
Also, is the drum spinning? If not, it could be indicative of other problems.

Dry is not getting clothes dry. I have checked the vent, filter and taken off the front cover and completely cleaned inside but still clothes are not dry. They get hot but not dry.

can be 2 different issues, a clog in your vent pipe or your heat coil is failing, on some models you have a low and high heat coil, sounds like you high coil burned out and just the low coil is working, or your temp switch has failed

Dryer turns on and rotates. However, does not dry clothes completely. Cycle signals wet, then damp, cool down and finally dry,but clothes are still wet. Sometimes the dryer works fine and completely dries...

This problem may be the result of a dirty lent filter which if clogged will short cycle the dryer and the clothes will still be damp when done. Also a dirty exhaust pipe (usally 4") will prevent the clothes from drying correctly. Make sure that the air is leaving the machine. To do this you have to go outside when the machine is running.

My whirlpool duet dryer is only 4 years old and it does not dry the clothes completely, even when it is on Heavy Duty. Only way it dries the clothes is if I run it through 2 cycles.

Check to see that the lint filter and exhaust duct are clear all the way to the outlet. If the moist hot air is not being exhausted the clothes will not dry. If the vent path is clear and you are using auto-dry the sensor may be at fault.

Doesn't completely dry clothing

Make sure lint filter is clean and vent pipe and outlet are not clogged.  If the clothes are getting warm then the element is working.

Reset your two circuit breakers. Check all vents and vent lines. Check your lint filter and its receptacle. Is all the water being spun out by your washer first?
