The Model T103 is designed for 120VAC. You might just want to purchase a T104 which is already made for 208V use. That would be the simplest and safest solution.

If your incoming power is 120V/208V 3-phase with a neutral, you could try rewiring the timer. Disconnect the timer motor from the contact screws and wire it directly to one phase and the neutral. Then use the two switch poles to control the 208V line wiring. If you have no neutral available you're out of luck. You should probably consult a licensed electrician to avoid any insurance liability.

This site has the 208V timer as well as downloadable instruction sheets for the 100 series.

Wiring a dimmer switch with 208vac, single pole

208 Volt 2-wire is generally achieved by pulling two hot wires off 3-phase 120/208 Wye or 208 Delta, or Highleg to center tap off high leg delta.

http://waterheatertimer.org/images/3-phase-timer-diagram3-T104-208-240.jpg

Since each of these three phase systems also offers 120volt for lights, and a dimmer can be used for lights, then I wonder what you are using dimmer for?

208 volts.can be controlled by turning off one hot of the two hot wires.
Install dimmer on one of the hot wires, and see what happens.
Is the dimmer rated for 208 volts?

Just intstalled a T104M according to the diagram and all the diagrams found on the web. The clock timer doesn't work. I can manually shut off the pump from the timer. I thought it was a bad tim

T104M is 208-277 timer mechanism that fits inside any Intermatic enclosure.
If voltage is not correct, then clock motor will not operate.
Since you did not say what voltage, I assume you have 240Volt pool pump.
Open following link to see the many ways to wire this timer:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html
It is possible that you have the Load and Line wires reversed.
Line wire come from circuit breaker, and Load wires go to pump.

If the T104M mechanism is part of a control panel with more than one timer, and/or a freeze control, then re-post question with more specific information.

How do i wire diehl t85 type 600

1) Copy following links for wiring Deihl T85 600 timer.

http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Deihl-T85-600-wired-for-208-230-Volt.jpg
http://waterheatertimer.org/Countdown-timer-horsepower-ratings.html#T85

2) This timer will turn off Hot wire in 120Volt circuit.

3) For 208-230 Volt applications, the timer will operate by turning off 1 hot leg. However other hot leg will still have live power. To turn off both Hot legs, use DPDT spring-wound timer such as Intermatic 60 minute FF460M or FD460M

Need wiring diagram for T104M 208-277v Mech. Time Time Switch

Here is the basic instructions:
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/t104%20-%20english.ashx

Below is a larger and better diagram of a 240V connection Terminal connections are White to White on 3 & 4 Black to Black on 1 & 2:
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/T-104-control-240V-Load4-35.jpg

More info: http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html

I am assuming you have the 240 VAC clock motor so the clock timer motor wires are connected to terminals 1 and 3.

If you only have the 120 VAC clock motor the wires will be connected across terminals 1 and 2.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Will not shut off.

Ok is that the correct model number and voltage? Do you have it connected to 208-277 volts? (230V at home) Is the dial turning? Do you have both on and off trippers installed on the dial (they are not the same). If all that is true be sure the two timer motor wires are on the same incomine L1 and L2 terminals so it will run

Hello i have an intermatic model #t104r 208-277 volt my problem is that it works manually but it doesnt work automatically? whats wrong?

If you can also manually turn the dial so that the load turns ON and OFF, then the timer motor is bad :-( Replacements are available here for about $30:
