Hi:
You most likely have a partially blocked heater core, and at least it isn't leaking on the floor.

You might have sucess in trying to flush your cooling system, but often you end up replacing the heater core to fix the problem. Other possibilities are blockage of the air inlet on your heating system by leaves or other debris, but not likely in this case if you still have good air flow, but just not hot air.

Heat is not acting right

If you checked properly and coolant/rad isn't getting hot, coolant is up to proper level, then I'd replace thermostat.

2008 land rover sc warm up car turn on heat blower working warm air at first then clod no heat

When is the last time you change the thermostat and coolant?
Recommended interval is 2 years.

Coolant is the heat carrier to heater core.
Top off the coolant level for now and re-test.

Replaced thermostat and flushed out heater core 3 times 3 times it was cloggged, flushed system twice got good radiator flow and ther very hot just heat like luke warm one line in to core hot one oming out...

If the heater core is not damaged or leaking ie: if you don't see coolant on the INSIDE of your windshield or coolant on the floor inside the car then chances are you may just need to BLEED the radiator.

remove radiator cap

Fill coolant resovoir to the cold line if the engine is cold from sitting overnight.

Start engine with cap off

Wait till engine gets hot

While waiting you will see a big gurgle of air bubbles come out and the coolant level will drop

Fill the radiator with more coolant to compensate.

When the fans come on and it stops gurgling air install the radiator cap

You are done

Watch the coolant level for the next few days and top off in the resovoir as needed to keep it filled.

Your heat should be very hot now providing you installed the correct oem thermostat correctly.

Hope this helps

No interior heat in my 2000 daewoo nubira

3 possible issues here,

the first is that your thermostat is stuck open, when this happens the air will barely be warm, luke warm at best, replacing the thermostat will fix this problem

the second, is that you have low coolant levels, when your coolant levels are way low, your heater core doesn't get the proper amount of coolant (if any) and the system blows cold air instead of heated air.

The third and final possibility, is that your heater core has clogged up (usually happens when stop leak or some type of radiator sealant is used) when this happens you can feel warm air when accelerating (test this by gently reving the vehicle and holding the rpm's when it is in park and holding your hands over the defrost vent to check for heat.

If you can tell me what symptom your vehicle is having I can help with instruction on how to fix it thanks [email protected]

2004 Tahoe Heating Problems

Did you open the radiator cap and make sure the radiator is full of coolant? Sometimes the hose from the coolant reservoir to the radiator becomes plugged, and the radiator will become low on coolant even when the plastic reservoir is full. Low water levels will prevent the coolant system from getting hot water from the engine to the radiator or heater cores. This will cause the engine to run hotter while the heater appears to not be working.

Heater with an attitude on my 1995 Chevy Blazer

It sounds like you have low engine coolant levels or air trapped in the coolant.
