To remove- Make sure the main house water valve is off.
To remove handle it will either be by prying off the center plastic cap and revealing a retainer screw or there will be a set screw hiding just out of view on the underside of the handle.

Most pressure problems are due to debris getting caught in the shower head. I would remove that first and try to blow it out with compressed air and/or cleaning it with some CLR. You can get CLR at any hardware store.

Hope this helps

Put the faucet in, all seemed ok but did wonder about the faucet , when it was shoved down in place, what would hold it , so sometimes it blows off

there should be a small screw --probably in the back that goes into a groove after the unit is assembled
could even have a small plastic plug covering it

WATER PRESSURE

Seems like you have a hard water problem that has clogged up your faucet with sediment. You will need to replace the faucet, or take it off and try soaking it in vinegar water for a few hours, then boiling it. This may remove the sediment within the faucet.

It takes a 1/8" allen wrench to remove handle. To increase hot water flow remove plastic dial that sets temperature. It is right behind handle and slides off stem for easy adjustment.

Remove indicator and replace about 1/8 to 1/4 turn counter clock wise to increase to hotter temperature.

Low pressure, cleaned screen in tip, checked incoming supply, seems strong, yet pressure is low??

Has pressure always been low? If faucet is new than there will be a flow restricter in the aerator. Most flow restricters can be removed easily. Some are a pain. Have you tried checking the pressure with the aerator off. That would tell you if the problem is there or in the valve.

No hot water pressure on kohler bath / shower faucet

Try draining the system and apply air pressure (min 30psi) to each faucet. Open other hot water faucets to allow pressure to vent. Next try draining and cleaning the hot water tank.

Not enough hot water in one of my showers.

Turn the temperature down on your hot water tank to prevent scalding from all faucets.

Pressure problem with Kohler shower faucet??

Hi pglaw,

My best guess is the supply valve for the hot side isn't open all the way. This valve is right on the valve and is accessed by taking off the front cover plate. This would still allow the pressure balancing valve to let water through but then you would have a small flow on the hot side.

If this isn't it then then cartridge is bad.

Please rate this response and good Luck,, phil

Loss of pressure in kitchen faucet - Price Pfister

Your problem is a simple one.

  1. Turn off water to faucet.
  2. Place a towel(s) in the base of the sink(s) to prevent any parts from going down drain.
  3. Remove the handle to the faucet. (single handle only)
  4. If not a single handle then remove spout from faucet.
  5. If a single handle remove cap carefully and any loose parts.
  6. Gently turn spout side to side while lifting to remove.
  7. You will see a hole with a very small valve where the water comes out to the spout on the base of the faucet.

  1. Remove this valve (which is a backflow preventer) and replace.
  2. Reassemble and test.
Problem solved.
