Unfortunately, there aren't enough details to know what's going on. What kind of sound does your computer have? You can find this information out by right-clicking on My Computer, selecting Manage, and then selecting "Device Manager" on the left side of the Management Window. Please let us know all the items listed under Sound, video, and game controllers, and also any items that are listed with a yellow question mark next to them. It would also be great to know when the audio was last working, and what changes have happened (windows update, new software and hardware installed) since the audio actually worked.

First verify you see a small sound icon or in the systray (generally at the bottom right hand corner of your screen). If this icon is missing follow the below section.
Open the control panel
Open the "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon.
Verify the "Place volume icon in the taskbar" checkbox is checked. If this option is not available or is greyed out, skip to the next section of this document
If you were able to check this box, click ok and close out of this window and the Control Panel.
Double-click the sound icon in the Systray and verify that all the sound volumes are mid-way or higher.

No sound from stereo in 1994 ford probe

did you use a converter plug set for your factory wiring or did you do the siring your self. If you used a factory plug converter then your radio is probably bad, if you did the wiring yourself then check your splices and get a diagram for the wirring before you send the radio back. If you want a easy way to wire the radio in correctly the first time go to cruthfield and buy the converter cable for your radio and vehicle. Its $10 and saves you a lot of time an energy.
