I assume the reset button did not work, you may have inadvertently caused a power spike that did some damage, try unplugging the TV for 10 or so minuets then plug back in, if there are no functions it must be serviced

Red light blinking

blinking of red light indicates that fault in main board or related boards. you need to open back cover remove each cable connected with main board one by one & put on tv after each cable is disconnected. if red light stops blinking on disconnecting any of the cables, that means related board is defective, if it does not stops blinking, check the power supply is generating proper voltages. if it is ok that means the main board is defective.

Computer won't turn on

If the only light you get is a green blinking light in the back of the computer, odds are that your power supply stopped funcitioning properly.

The good news is, it is a relatively easy part to get and install, but you will want to be sure you get one with adequate power for your system.

Additionally, some systems have custom built power supplies, and can be expensive. If you go buy one, be sure to take your old one in for comparison.

Good Luck

Blinking Green Light of Death

I had this similar problem TWICE!!!. I called around for a repairman and they charged over $300 dollars to repair (HELL NO). Anyways I took a trip to Vegas hoping to win some of the money to repair it and left the TV plugged in and BLINKING during my trip. When I came back it was not blinking anymore and I got curious. Well I pressed the power button and to my surprise IT TURNED ON!!!!. A month later I moved to a different house and unplugged my TV to move it and when I plugged it in the DAMN BLINKING GREEN LIGHT OF DEATH was back. Well I thought I'd get lucky again and leave the blinking on, well 2 days later the blinking was gone and ONCE AGAIN MY TV WAS ON...... I hope this helps and works for other people. My point is, before you pay for a technician to repair it and before you give up on your TV and unplug it, Try leaving it on BLINKING for a few days and see what happens.

GOOD LUCK GUYS.

I called my Brother in Law whom is an Electrician. He basically told me the same answers that your experts have told others. We're all pretty sure it's the cord, just haven't decided if it's worth it to spend 60 bucks on a new cord.

Thank you,

I'm sure We'll be back!
