Question about HP Compaq Presario 2135US Notebook
The mouse touchpad and IO indicator lights have gone dead on my 2135us notebook. I can get a 319449-001 compaq main board and have the skills to swap it out. Got an associate degree in electronic systems tech just before hybrid surface mount technology caught hold. Dated but still useful. My question is this: are there any special jumper settings or (shudder) bios burnings required to have this board (pulled from another machine) recoginze and run with the Celeron 1.8 Ghz processor in the recipient laptop?
Thanks in advance!
