Did you notice that the computer started freezing after you have installed any software or any type of hardware to the computer. If yes, then uinstall the software or remove the hardware and the drivers and check.

You may also try to do a system restore prior to the date you started having problems with the computer.

If not, then back up all you data and reinstall the OS.
