Question about ASUS 90-A4C1K1000 Keyboard
I'm trying to turn on my keyboard backlight for my asus ux50v after fresh install of windows 7 in fact, most of my F keys don't work now. i'm not blaming it all on the install though. the install occurred after a botched attempt of getting my comp to run on Ubuntu and no luck. It was at that time that I noticed my backlight and other F keys not working.any ideas?
You need to download the 'kb filter utility' from support.asus.com

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
