I have a Whirlpool Duet Steam model WFW9600TW01. It has already had the main control panel board changed, now it is stopping just as water starts into the washer, then it flashes "Sud", even when there is no soap in machine. I have to run the Drain cycle to clear the water. Any idea what is wrong with it now? Thanks for your help - Dale

Another cause for the F35 and SUD error could be your CCU (control unit). There are components that seem to fail over time and cause the F35 and SUD errors. You can replace those components yourself now...

Kenmore Washing Machine Error Code F11 what does f11 mean - Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine. The F11 code is from a communication break in the serial link from ...
The F35 indicates a water level pressure sensor failure. A loose wire harness connection could be causing this problem if there is no water or suds in the tub. I recommend unplugging the washer and removing the top panel. Screws at the very back of the top panel secure it to the washer frame. Remove the screws and then pull the top panel slightly back and then up and off of the washer. The analog water level pressure sensor is shown in the first image below. The second image shows a clear picture of this component. Check the wire harness connection on this sensor. If you find a loose connection, secure the wire harness properly on the component then reassemble and test the washer. If you continue to get the F35 code, then the pressure switch will need to be replaced. I hope this helps.
also for the F-28 issue
Unfortunately F06 E02 is a very bad error. It means you have an interface communication error. That means that the main control board isn't communicating with the front interface control board. You can pull the washer out and remove the 3 screws coming in from the back of the top panel. Next, the top panel will pull straight back, up, and off. Now check all the wire connections between the two control board and make sure they are all secure. If everything looks good, then the interface control board will need to be ordered and replaced. Here is a link to the part.
F35 error means that there is some sort of issue
with the steamer electronic board and analog pressure sensor has gone bad.
Check that the hose is firmly attached with the washer and is not blocked. You
can also check the water level pressure switch operation. Please get back to me
if you have any other questions.
Hi dear.I may have solution for the SUD error. You can give it a go.But I do not know any thing about F35 one The motor control unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the current draw on the drive motor. If “Sud” is displayed a potential suds lock is detected. This may signify a bad pump, an extra heavy load, excessive detergent, or excessive suds.
• If too much detergent was used, run the unit through a Rinse/ Spin cycle then a Normal cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent. • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked • Check Wire Harness connections to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU) • Check / Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects • Check Drain Pump • Check the Pressure Switch • Check CCU
Replace failed component.
As it says run couple of rine cycles it should get back to normal.I hope that helps you.Thanks.
SUD, usually caused by using the wrong type of soap. Your soap should have the letters "HE" on front of box/bottle. SUD can also be a bad drain pump, question is, does it still have water showing in tub?
F35, is a pressure sensor # W10156252, good luck finding it, as Whirlpool has problem keeping these things in stock. They list price at $112.82. Only takes about 20 minutes to change. Research sears.com, select PARTS Direct, enter model number, click on cabinet parts, find analog pressuer switch, see if they have in stock. Or, research the net for someone that does.
Take top of washer lid off, pressure switch is located on top right rear side wall of machine.
if it is less than one year old call for service it should be covered. if not take the kick panel off and locate the tech sheet it is either in the kick panel or in the cabinet to the right. it will give you a list of error codes find out what it means and let me know thanks
Our new Whirlpool Duet had the same problem after only three months of use. We contacted Whirlpool since the washer is still under warranty. The issue is a "bad pressure switch". The part number is W10156252. Service company replaced the part yesterday, and the washer is working like normal. Whirlpool nor the service company had any explanation why the part would go bad in such a short time. No charge since the washer is under warranty.
WARNING - There must be a shortageWe were initially told that the part was backordered for 2 to 3 weeks. We even tried to obtain the part through other vendors and got the same time frame. Furious with the potential of being without a brand new washer for 3 weeks, we spent many hours on the phone with Whirlpool trying to expedite the part. After some strong encouragement and moving the issue up the chain of customer service, Whirlpool agreed to pull a part from the factory inventory where the washers are built. The only problem is that nobody could tell us when, or if, the new part would be shipped. Suddenly, the part just arrived by FedEx at our house. In all, our washer was inoperable for 1 week. Be persistent. They will tell you over and over there is nothing they can do.
If you negotiate well, Whirlpool will extend your factory warranty for an additional year.
