My Canon printer won't turn on, power indicator shows power to printer, what can I do?

Aye Caramba! Not good. Are you plugging into a power strip? Sounds like you have a bad ground in cord. Don't get mad, but did you try another outlet? If you have and this is still happening you have a bad power distribution board. OR, or you may just have a bad cord b check tho see if nothing is jammed against the ground lug and one of the plug extensions. LET me know. Jim.

I have an HP photosmart plus b209a-m and I keep on getting this "unreadable images" error that keeps on popping up and it is very annoying. I was wondering what it was and how to get rid of it.

Turn-Off the Printer using the Power Button.
Unplug power-supply cord from printer.
Unplug Power plug from power outlet.
wait 30 seconds.
Plug cord back into printer.
Plug power cord into Power outlet.
Turn-On power using Power button.
Now when you check printer status, it will be OK.

When turned on caused, caused a pop at the outlet and don't know if the if the power cord went bad or short somewhere else in the sustem. what do i do and how

Hi, that pop sound you heard at the outlet simply implies that the fuse blew off. What you just need to do is too replace the fuse and if the power cord is having a burn smell, then i will also advise you to change the power cord..

Take care

The mircowave has no power, outlet works, just mirco strop workin

HI, the popping sound that you herd was the result of a failed HV capacitor. This failure will render the unit inoperable, as you has witnessed at this time. Replacing this failed HV capacitor, will correct this issue. I would also advise to check the cut-off fuse and in-line AC fuse as well. There may be some issues concerning the integrity of these fuses as well.

Pop sound and now no picture or sound still gets power

Try disconnecting all the cables from the TV then reconnect them after a few minutes. It's suggested that you connect the power cable from the TV directly to a functional wall outlet.

If still there is no picture on the TV then it's required to replace the projection lamp.

The electricl connection (printer end)

You probly can't take the bottom off an HP printer. All the HP printers use the base of the printer to assemble the printer on. You can take the covers off, but I have never removed the covers on you type of print, so you will just have to start trying to pop the off. Most HP prints have a few screws, and the rest just pop off.

Does this printer take 120 volts in or does it have a power converter between the wall and the printer? If it is 120, does the power cable unplug from printer or is it made to the printer?

I have seen power cable connectors go bad and become loose and your power will come and go.

Plugged into a UK outlet...heard pop...can I fix this?

No. If the printer has a seperate power supply you should be OK just buying a new power supply but if the power cable plugs into the printer itself you will need to take it to a service centre.
