Question about PayPal Computers & Internet

Have had trouble for 2 days accessing PayPal site. Thought is was on my end. We have 5 computers in the house all are giving same result. Our DSL is smokin and all other websites come up instantly. Is PayPal having trouble on their end? I have a small online business and need to do some shipping. The site will grind and finally open in text, ocassionally I will get a normal page then when I move to the next function back to text. Advise. Thanks.

I don't know if it will help, but try clearing out your cookies and temp files and then try.

hey you can complain and reclaim the money...the options are there in paypal only...just go in the summary of your payment...in the end there will be a option to ...complain...it will take only 4-5 days for enquiry and ..you will get your money back.

I am trying to access the internet wirelessly from a lap top through a D-Link DI-624 I went throught the steps 1. plugged up the router 2. unplugged the DSL box 3. plugged up the ethernet cable to the DSl...


Unplug the power cables from both your DSL modem and D-Link router.
Verify the Ethernet cable is plugged into both your DSL modem and the D-Link router.
Plug the DSL modem power cable back in and wait for the self-test to finish.
Plug the D-Link router power cable back in and wait for the self-test to finish.
Plug your laptop into the D-Link router using an Ethernet cable.
Can you access the D-Link configuration page now?

Check to see if your computer is getting an IP address from the D-Link router.
Here's how to do that, assuming you're using Windows.
Hold down the Windows key on your keyboard then press the letter R.
In the Run dialog box type 'cmd' (without the apostrophes).
Click OK.
In the command prompt window type 'ipconfig /all' (without the apostrophes).
Press Enter.
Look for the line that reads 'Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection'.
Verify that 'Dhcp Enabled' is set to 'Yes".

The DSL light is green but blinking and the Internet light is not even coming on. All computers in house get the wireless signal and says the internet is working, but we don't have internet access.

Welcome to FixYa! What you are experiencing right now is what they called NO SYNC in ISP term. That means that your router is not getting any signal from the server. Please try to follow these method for you to be able to fix the problem.

1. Turn Off the router.

2. Check the DSL cable, the one that is connected from the router to the wall outlet.

3. Check if there's any device between them and remove it.

4. Try to switch the end of the cable.

3. Try to use another cable if possible.

5. Power on the router and wait until the DSL light goes steady.

6. If nothing happens, try to reset the router by pushing the reset button at the back of it.

7. Press and hold it for 30 seconds while the router is on.

8. Turn off the router and after 30 seconds, turn it back on.

If the DSL light is still blinking, there's a possibility that the problem is with the router itself or the line outside your house going to the server itself.

I have the westell 7500. I have DSL with Verizon. The connection keeps dropping since day 1. which was about 5 weeks ago. The tech has been out about 6 times , replacing lines outside . rewired my house....

Just thought Id let you know that I have had the same problem. I have just filed a complaint with paypal and started a dispute.
Don't know whether this was a reputable site or not but if we all put a dispute in we may get our money back.

Are you using the following sites for Paypal?
www.paypal.com
www.paypal.co.uk

If you go to the correct site for your location and put in your registered email address and password, what happens.

I would think you have a problem with the email address or the password.

On the login screen is an option if you have fogotten any of your details.
I suggest that you pick that option.

DSL line disconnects on WRT54GS only


Try to change the LAN IP address of your router to 192.168.2.1 by accessing the router's Setup page. You also need to set your Westell modem to "full-bridge mode". You need to ask assistance from your ISP to bridge the modem. After that, set-up the Linksys router to PPPoE then power cycle it.
