Hmm, my need more info to tackle this one, like brand and model # is there any blinking lights on the front of tv? If so, which ones and do they blink in a pattern like 3 blinks pause 3 blinks pause etc.. Depending on brand sometimes they can fool you into thinking the lamp went in right, especially Sony. But for now, try reseating the lamp ,make sure its snug. Make the screws,if any, tighten properly. Then make sure the lamp door is on properly. most lamp doors hold down a switch to let the tv know the door is closed. If the TV thinks the door is open it will NOT come on. hope that helps good luck!

Changed 6 lamps y65 none work can they all be bad

Sounds like the circuit that is responsible for sparking and maintaining the voltage to the lamp has gone bad. It's called the Lamp Driver.

Don't waste any more money on lamps. Get a tech to have a look at either repairing or replacing the lamp driver.

Yes, its time for a new lamp. When you have it out to change it clean out as much of the dust as you can. The more dust you can remove the longer the new lamp will last.

Sometimes the TV's lamp will not go on with the first Power-On

When the set shuts off again count the number of times the led on the front flashes and the color of it. ait will flsh a number of times pause and then repeat. this is an error code and will help diagnose the problem.

I changed the lamp in my sp7210 the new lamp is working fine but.

just to be sure you have the correct timer reset procedure: power the projector up, press and hold down the 2 brightness buttons for at least 10 seconds. if that doesn't work, you'll need to upgrade the firmware. go to the infocus website.

The optoma hd72 projector lamp goes out after 30 seconds.. the big game is this weekend... what can I do?

I had this exact same problem. I have changed bulbs gotten 1000 or so hours from new bulb, changed the lamp driver and gotten about 600 more hours from new lamp driver. New lamp cost me $350, lamp driver cost me $120. Then I read on a page to try and flip it right side up, because I had it ceiling mounted upside down. I flipped it right side up and it works perfectly and has been working perfectly for 2 months now. I know it sounds stupid, but it actually worked for me, and it costs you nothing to try it. For some reason, gravity effects this unit.

Panasonic PT-AE900U Projector Lamp stops working (intermittent)

since it has worked 1200 hours or even more since u have been resetting the counter! just change the lamp, resetting the counter does not make the lamp work or not work , it is only a reminder for the user to change the bulb when it should be & that u have some balance hours left to procure a new lamp!
if the brightness is adequate, then it is a ballast problem & not lamp problem!
buy a new lamp as u will anyway need to , fit it & it may solve ur problems permanently!

I worked for a GM dealership,The problem maybe in the turn signal switch. The brake lamp circuit is wired into it to turn off cruise control. The third brake lamp is a circuit by itself.

HD72I WORKS FOR 30SECONDS AND THEN SWITCHES OFF

I had the same problem with very few hours on the lamp. Sent it back to the factory and they said the fan was overheating causing the bulb to shut down. They replaced the fan and the bulb for free under warranty. I noticed before I sent it the projector was putting out an incredible amount of heat. MUCH better after fan replacement.
