Question about Mitsubishi VS-6041 60" Rear Projection Television
It sounds to me that you have a bad HV/Power Supply Board. Before opening the back of the set, always unplug the set from the wall. If you can check electronic components ( ie: transistors, capacitors, fuses etc ) I suggest you check the Horizontal Output Transistor first. If it's not that transistor, check for cold solder joints ( loose connected parts from the printed circuit board ) and re-solder all bad connections. If the set still doesn't work, you may need to seek professional help, as the problem is more deeply laden and you may need to obtain a schematic to repair the set. I hope this has helped.
