Check the water pump for an obstruction in the chamber area, your pump may be sticking and that will cause the buzzing sound. The water pump runs during the fill portion of the cycle on several of the selected wash cycles to recirculate the water. ------
SUSPENSION RODS There are four suspension rods that suspend the tub and allow the tub to free float. If the suspension rods are noisy, there will be a squeaking noise during wash. You can fix this by putting bearing grease in the cup that each rod rests in. If it continues to squeal replace all four rods the cups come with the rods, replace them as well. Suspension rods can be purchased at AppliancePartsPros.comWashing Machine. GE Model Number - show?id=6bjnatppuce&bids=92089.10000015&type=3&subid=0 If you use grease make sure the grease you use is lithium based. ------- TRANSMISSIONThe transmission is the most common problem with noisy GE washers. The transmission will make a roaring noise when its spinning and this is likely caused by the tub seal (the tub seal is where the transmission goes into the tub) leaking. ------ WATER PUMPWasher water pumps can be noisy if something gets in it, striking the impeller. Take the hose off the pump (be ready for some water to spill out) and remove obstruction from pump. If nothing is in the pump then replace the pump.------ TIMEROn some later models, I have found the timer can become very noisy. You may only hear it when the washer is in a soak cycle. The only way to fix it is to replace the timer. Timers can be purchased atAppliancePartsPros.com.------ ---- also check the latches. The problem is with the latch. If you gently pull the door it should stop the loud buzzing sound.Remove the cabinet. Remove the pump from the motor and see if it'll work. Possible a foreign object inside the pump. --- You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

We have a ge washing machine model number WJRE5500G1WW. We were starting a new load of laundry and the washer was just filling with water. There was a loud noise we stopped the machine and it looks as if the entire central component that holds the washer separated from the metal shell. It is no longer suspended from the outer support framework
and is floating unsupported. Do you know what we should do to fix this

GE Washer Model WJRR4170E4WW squeaks while agitating

There are four suspension rods that the tub hangs on. When the washer is agitating the tub will rock back and forth and the rods will move back and froth as well. To fix this noise, lift up in each rod and put some lubricant in the cup that the rods fit into at the top of the washer.

Note that it is best if you use a lithium-based lubricant rather than silicone based lubricant.

Series 70 fills wit water stops then makes a slight buzzing sound

The electric motor my have failed or a part called a capacitor could be the problem? The capacitor is part of the starting circuit of the electric motor, if this fails the motor will not start therefore the washing machine won't spin or agitate.
