Question about Cobra 25 LTD 40-Channels Base CB Radio
There is not an easy way to add channels to this radio by just hooking up a switch as usual. You have to use a crystal kit, which would wire into the spot where the radio's main crystal is and then the original crystal would be put on to the crystal kit's board. This would give you 40 up and 40 down. I do not think these kits are still in production.

Tips for a great answer:
Setting a Channel
Your radio has 22 channels. Channels 1-7 and 15-22 are 1 watt. Channels 8-14 are
0.5 watt. When the radio is on a 1 watt channel, displays. When the radio is on
a 0.5 watt channel, displays.
1. With the radio on, press . The current channel flashes.
2. Press or to set the channel.
3. Press to save the channel setting. You have a pretty straight forward Low wattage FM Walki/Talki
I would have them returned or replaced.
If you can not transmitt on one to the other
