SOURCE: bosch electric range 700 series

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with leave the unit unplugged for 30minutes to 1hr. then plug it back, if still the issue is not resolved then you'll have to replace the Electronic Range control (ERC). However, while it's unplugged you can also try to blow air on the control with the help of hair dryer so that if there is any moisture it blows it off. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

Bosch oven error code F43; breaker reset doesn't work. Door ok (though it locked while using broiler). Beeps continuously. Worth fixing? OK to use gas burners without power? Smells very gassy.

Don't use any appliance that smells of gas or partially burnt gas. Time for a new one or a professional Bosch service engineer. Your call?

Here is the Error Code

F43Upper (or single) oven motorized latch will not lock; defective or jammed upper (or single) oven door or latch switches; defective latch motor or its wiring.
  1. Check P24 connector on the power board.
  2. Ensure door latch switches are operating properly.
  3. Check that neither latch switch nor common wires are pinched to the appliance chassis.
  4. Check P10 connector and check if latch motor wire is pinched to the appliance chassis.
  5. If F43 persists, replace power board.

Bosch gas range error code F11

Disconnect the ribbon from the control panel and clean it using pencil eraser. then carefully reconnect it.

If the F11 is still there most likely it's the control panel.

I have a Bosch gas range Model: HGS346UC 0/1.

If the cooker has a digital clock it needs to be reset to manual or until 00.00 appears on display . To do this hold " - " button until the 00.00 is displayed .
Then press and hold the "+" and "-" buttons in both together at the same time until all settings have been cancelled . Try the oven now and it should come on.

Bosch oven function error e124

Hi,

Can you provide a model number for your oven. Is it a single oven or double ? Wall oven or free standing range ?(conventional with cooking surface)

Unfortunately the error codes for Bosch are different depending on the model of the unit.

Thank you, I`ll look for your reply.

THE FADING DISPLAY IS A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH TERM, BOSCH, AND JENN-AIR JUST REPLACING THE DISPLAY BOARD OR EOC DOESNOT SOLVE THE ISSUE DUE TO INCOMPATIBLE SOFTWARE YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO CHANGE THE MAIN PWR RELAY BOARD

Error code

Try unplugging or turning off the breaker for 30 mins then plug it back in and see if you still have the 160. I'm surprised that it doesn't have an F anywhere in the code. How old is the oven. Could some of the lights on the control be out. they are LED's and sometime they do burn out. I'm thinking this could be an F06 code which could mean anything from a power surge (clock) and needs to be reset (like I said by switching of the breakers or unplugging) to an EOC (Electronic Oven Control) failure. By switching off the oven and waiting about 30 mins. if it doesn't come back on it will be the EOC. make sure the LED (light emitting diodes) aren't out on the control making you
