Question about Toshiba REGZA 42RV530U 42 in. LCD HDTV
This is not a solution but a bandaid to a problem. My 27" does the same thing. Turn off the computer restart the monitor and leave in a blue screen. May have to try more than once. Start the computer in safe mode. Select change resolution to a lower level and set the Hz at 59. The softer start will not overload the system. I think the unit has a combination of problems...1- it is a piece of **** and 2- I have noticed Microsoft's updates are changing you operating system drivers a little at a time. So much so my old HP pavillion is not recognized by HP's unit recognition program. I just spent the last12 hours redown loading the original drivers for my Compac PC that runs Windows7. All the nvida, amd, and other programs have been change to Microsoft generic drivers. Go figure.......... Davidadam@msn.com
