Printer keeps jamming

Just replaced the cartridges in my Canon printer, and now the paper jams every time I try to print something. What should I do?

-   paper started catching right at the top middle as it feeds. was low on ink, changed the cartridge and jamming progessed to 100% jamming. seems to be leaky also . . . when I reached in to "unjam", I noticed the roller/paper feeder was smugdey and my fingertios were ink stained

-   Mine started jamming. I looked for troubleshooting guide. Supposed to make sure inks are seated properly. They are and I have replaced twice after that and still have about a 90% paper jam.-   spotinsaturn

can you check to see if there is any paper piece's that might have ripped off a previous print stuck on the carrage bar, open the front flap and try to do a paper feed using the printer function buttions, thus elimiating windows printing... let on ;-)
