Hi,

The hob displaying 'L' means locked.

To Cancel the key lock, follow the following procedure..

After switching ON the control the child safety feature can be deactivated.
Here it is necessary to simultaneously operate the front right cooking-zone-select-key and the MINUS-key and then operate the MINUS-key alone.
If all steps hae been carried out in the right order within 10seconds the key lock gets cancelled and the control is OFF. Otherwise the input will be considered incomplete, the control remains locked and switches-OFF after 20 seconds.

After a renewed switching-ON/OFF key all displays show 0", the display dots are blinking and the control is ready for ooking. If a cooking zone is "hot", "H" will be displayed instead of the static 0".

These are the way to unlock the control and that should solve your issue

Please leave me comment, if you need further further assistance

Code e on only two of the right hand zones on siemens induction hob

Hello.

These codes mean that the oven's electronic control hasdetected a condition it needs to check which mean error. When you see a code, follow these steps to solve the problem:
  • Press "Stop/Clear" to clear the display and stop the beeping.
  • Reprogram the oven.
  • If the code still displays, turn off the power to the oven at your breaker box and wait five minutes before turning it back on.
Thanks.

Previous homeowner turned off GE Spacesaver 2.0 microwave display and now we can't turn it back on. Tried directions given to press option button 5 times then #1 to turn display back on. Doesn't...

I was not aware you could turn off the display, maybe it is just a bad display and you need to replace the board??!!
Ive been repairing Microwaves for 37 years. i do not remember seeing one where you could just turn off the display.

I HAVE A STOVES CERAMIC HOB 700CTH THAT IS SHOWING A FAULT 7A IS BEEPING AND FLASHING ON PLEASE CAN YOU HELP

The fault is on the PC board, capacitor C17. It can be replaced if you are handy with these things. Remove the hob and dismantle it to gain access to the PC board without turning it upside down. There are several screws which have to be removed, there are 13 spade connectors on the PC board, label these and remove them carefully. The capacitor has to be un-soldered and the new one fitted with the polarity the right way around. If this is not within your capabilities and you do not have the correct tools, have someone do it for you for a few dollars. A call-out for this fault could run into the $400 bracket and the part costs about $1.50.

I have a cata ceramic hob. the child lock has been engaged & is restricting operation of any of the 4 hob's

When you turn on the hobs main power, press the the rear left hand element pad at the same time and the lock will come off.

press the centre minus button and the bottom right plus button at the same time it will work if not keep trying
You have to hold down the centre sensor button with the minus on and the sensor which turns on the bottom right ring immediatley after turning the hob on. It should unlock, then press the minus again
the hob switchs off
when you now switch on there will be no lock

Can I gaet a new glass top for a Diplomat HJA 1613 ceramic hob?

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Sounds like it is the wrong element. I wouldn't like to advise further without seing it. Contact your supplier and ask for an explanation.
