Goodman furnace GMP075-3 The thermostat was in the off position over night and sometime during the night, the induced blower and blower motor came on. The trouble light on board blinks 5 times. I checked...

Need your model # to check the codes but, this coming back on after turning the t-stat off is rare. You may have been in a lockout and the furnace re-started. Some furnaces try to start three times , then lock out. Time out, then re-start. The codes should be on your furnace blower door. Write back with this info and i could help.

Goodman GDS80904BNA LED Blinks 3 Times

had similar problems with same furnace. I think the 3 blinks is high limit event. either way with the power off to the furnace remove the board from the 4 clips holding it on one at a time then turn it over and look at it you will be able to tell if the board is bad because it will appear scortched and the resin will be bubbled up where it went bad. replace board and you will be fine. went through 2 in 2 years all of a sudden they are being made by a different company from the original and the 1st replacement. now all is fine. Take a good picture of the board close up so you can reconnect all the wires properly. Friend of mine got it from a wholesaler for $55.00

Goodman furnace

double check your wiring. R terminal on the furnace will provide 24 volts to the t-stat. W terminal in the t-stat will send 24 volts back to the furnace W terminal to turn on the heat. G terminal in the t-stat will send power to the G terminal in the furnace when the t-stat is switched to fan on. Y terminal in the t-stat will send power to the Y terminal in the furnace which in turn will send 24 volts to the A/C outside. The C terminal in the furnace should be connected to the c terminal in the A/C outside as well as to the T-stat. Check the fuse again

Goodman GMP075-3 Has 1 single blink on the light

The blink codes are differant on every furnace. Read your code on the schematic found on the inside of the door. You most likey have a dirty flame sensor. Under the burners you should find a "single" wire going to a connector. This will be to the far left or right. Just opposite of a "two" white wires going to the hot surface igniter. Remove the 1/4 inch screw closet to the single wire under the burner. carefully pull out the flame sensor. Clean it with a small piece of sandpaper. Re install it. This should fix your furnace. KEEP IN MIND Goodman GMP models are noted for defective heatexchangers. Pull out the blower assembly and turn it over. If small rings about the size of a dime falls out.... this furnace is unsafe and should replaced!

Furnace shut off after 3 time flame from pilot

Sounds like you may have a weak or bad flame sensor. If the circuit board does not sense a good flame it will not light the burners. Also if your furnace is 5 yrs or newer it should give you a fault on circuit board in the form of a blinking or a code itself.

the pressure switch is closed before the draft motor closes it.the board is telling you that this is not right.pull the wire(either) off of the pressure switch to see if furnace tries to light.if it does, you should replace the pressure switch.

No heat!, light blinks 3 times

Make sure the inducer motor is free of condensation and that all water is able to drain out. Unfortunately your furnace is a lower-grade “builders” model and does not have the same quality of components and workmanship as a Carrier or American Standard furnace. Prior to these failures, It was about 1/2 the price of the units mentioned. And the warranty drops off quickly. You get what you pay for.

Contact Goodman to see if they will cover the cost of your parts at 1-877-254-4729 US only. Their own motto is “Quality Makes the Difference”. It sure does.
