FOR MOST OF YOUR SPAS YOU SHOULD HAVE A OUTSIDE EMERGENCY SHUTOFF BOX NO CLOSER THEN 5 FEET FROM THE WATER LINE(YOU SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SIT IN THE SPA AN BE ABLE TO REACH OUT AN TOUCH THE EMERGENCY SHUTOFF) AN NO MORE THEN 100 FT AWAY FROM THE SPA. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT BRAND AN WHAT VOLTAGE YOU WILL BE SETTING IT UP AT MOST OF YOUR SPAS TODAY R CONVRTBLE FRM 110 TO 240V. MOST 110 ARE EASY SHOULD JUST BE A GFCI PROTECTED PLUG THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO PLUG IN(ALWAYS SMART IF ITS A PLUG IN, YOU RUN A SEPERATE BREAKER AN LINE OUT TO A ALL WHEATHER RECPT. TO PLUG THE SPA INTO) THE PLUG COMING FROM THE SPA SHOULD BE A GFCI PROTECTED PLUG LIKE YOU WOULD SEE ON MOST HAIR DRYERS. 240V ALSO DEPENDING ON WHAT TYPE A SPA U NEED THAT EMERGENCY GFCI PROTECTED BOX OUTSIDE(MOST GOOD DEALERS WILL OFFER YOU THIS BOX WHEN YOU BUY THE SPA) BEACUSE ALL BRANDS WILL BE HARDWIRED IN A DIFFERENT WAY SOME REQUIRE A DOUBLE POLE GFCI 30AMP BREAKER FOR JUST THE HEATER AN A SINGAL POLE GFCI 20AMP FOR THE PUMPS ALWAYS WANT THE GFCI OUT AT THE SPAS OUTSIDE SHUTOFF BOX INSTEAD OF IN THE MAIN BREAKER BOX BUT LIKE ALWAYS REFER TO THE MANUEL AN HIRE A ELECTRICIAN WHO HAS DONE SPAS B/4.

My Laars will turn on. Was waming jucuzzi then stopped and won't turn on.

it got hot and this means it did not have the right amount of water flowing trow the Heather is was less than normal causing the heather to get to hot and the high limit switch kick the heater off other mayor problem is with the temperature sensor located right in the heather outlet line make sure your filter is clean most problems occurred because the filter get dirty

I need a picture diagram of how to wire up two different baseboard heaters with seperate thermoststs on the same wire in the breaker box.Never done this before and I don't want to burn down my home.

it can not be done. if you want 2 seperate thermastats servicing 2 seperate baseboards, then what you will have is 2 seperate circuits, one for each thermastat and baseboard. If you are talking about only at the breaker box, then that can be done.... assuming that the total amperage does not exceed the wire rating or the breaker..... if that is the case you will have to install a junction box and split the wiring BEFORE it goes to each seperate heating unit.

I have an older jucuzzi spa. Model number z140. I had one of the primary wires burn through some time ago. I repaired this and the spa ran fine until yesterday. It quit running, heating, just plain quit. I...

I have found that most wires that overheat were caused by a loose connection. Wheather is was at the terminal screw or a bad solder joint on the circuit board. When there is enough heat to "bake" a wire, it most likely damaged the board as well. Check the traces on the back of the circuit board.
When you have a connection that is loose and "making & breaking" you are most likely to find carbon build up on the wire/ connector itself and it needs to be cleaned if not replaced.
Or keep it simple & replace the circuit board. Good luck

Electric dryer

Most dryers have two fuses in them, one inline with the heater element and another thermal fuse in the main circuit. The one inline with the heater element can blow and the dryer will still run, but will not heat. If the dryer gets too hot it may blow the thermal fuse and kill power to the entire system.

Depending on your level of handiness, you may take the cover off (make sure the unit is unplugged from power) and look for a blown fuse. Most dryers have a schematic for repair somewhere on the unit, usually in the top control area.
