Question about RCA RP5012 Digital Voice Recorder
You need to find a program called Restore My Files... I found it on google after I did the exact same thing. Connect the voice recorder to the computer, run the program to find files from your F:/ drive (or whatever drive is your external connection) and it should find your deleted files. It did for me, but in order to restore them you have to pay for it.... Now, I'm of a more crafty source and found the license key and user name necessary to use the program.
Use the user name GeoDeeJay and product key 0000G0-UHJ09E-1ERFD3-BT98UZ-NN03JF-5A64YK-PW4PR8-QRFV08-T59PTH (copy and paste) and you will be able to use the Recover My Files program.
Hopefully it will work for you. It worked for my and I couldn't be more psyched! Good luck!

If your voice recorder shows on the PC as a removable drive, then you can use PC inspector file recovery Freeware Program : http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/file_recovery/download.htm?language=1 I use it all the time for Olympus Voice Recorders hope will work for you. Joseph
