My other washing machine water output hose was attached with a clamp but this is not. It appears to be coming from inside the machine and I can't figure out how to open that area (if it can be open)

Normally, they are just clamped to the outlet of the water pump. but be aware that you still need to raise the part of the hose as they come out of the unit in order for the machine to work. if you leave the hose just lying on the ground,as the machine fills up, water would be leaking down the drain even though water pump is not running. pressure switch will not be triggered and machine will not run.

is your washing machine front loading or top loading? it could be clamped on the inside. you can tilt the machine to look under to trace where the hose leads to. im sure it would be connected to its water pump. from there you can clamped a longer hose. if the bottom is not accesible, there should be a part there where you can acces it. sometimes you need to remove the whole front cover in some front loading machines.

I can't get the pressure washer to start up. The water is coming out of the hose, but there is no water pressure

If the washer is the kind that shuts off completely when the pistol grip is released, the problem is likely the little pressure sensor located near the output fitting (the threaded part to which the hose connects). The sensor is a little plunger held down against an opening in the side of the pipe by a spring when there is low or no pressure in the output pipe, as when the trigger is pulled and the pressurized water in the hose is released by pulling the trigger. That completes the electrical circuit and the washer is on and continues pumping water. When the trigger is released, water in the hose and output pipe jams up super high pressure, forcing tjhe little plunger out against the spring, and the electrical circuit is broken. If you take the case apart, you will see wires coming from that area. The fix (if this is the problem) is to free up the little plunger.

if it rusted out on the tank side you will have to change the tank, or if it not all the way down to the tank, see if you can cut and get a longer hose. Make sure it is fuel rated because the regular water hose is different from the fuel hose.

Can we lengthen the discharge hose?

Yes, you can but if you are making it longer to go to a higher drain you may incur problems with water in tube. Some models have an options for high output pumps but yours may not. Just be sure you use proper hose clamps to secure the new connection properly.

Need to replace the water pump on my 1997 mitsubishi mirage? Are there other components that need to be changed

If nothing in the cooling system has been touched in the life of the vehicle, you should have the cooling system flushed, new thermostat and new hoses (upper/lower radiator hoses and input/output heater core hoses). A new belt probably wouldn't hurt, but it all depends on the maintenance history of the car.

I want to change my LG front load washer so i will open to the right

Sorry, but the door on the washers are not reversible, only the dryer doors are reversible. I'd suggest using a low profile telescopic style dryer vent to allow you to put the washer on the left side without worrying about the dryer vent location. You can get longer dryer power cords if needed, and water supply extention hoses, or just longer hoses if needed. The drain hose is usually long enough to still reach the drain. I have done this many times.
