I fixed it, I noticed that my Norton/antivirus wasn't running either. I tried to run Norton and it said that Norton could not start up and the best thing to do is restart the computer.

So I restarted, and Norton started up fine, and so did Google Chrome. Hope that relates to you.

This is because the MTU has been adjusted awkwardly for your computer to connect to certain sites.download this app and tweak the MTU to 1492...restart your pc and done and dusted,at least for me.

mcaffee is a repeat offender for giving this error, you have to go into mcafee and give chrome access to the internet
Click your start button
Select "All Programs"
Select "McAfee"
Select "Firewall"
click "settings"
Click "restore defaults"

Chrome will not load any pages, gives this error Error 10 (net::ERR_ACCESS_DENIED): Unknown error.

It is likely your Anti-Virus or Firewall is blocking Chrome. Check the Firewall to ensure Chrome is still allowed. Or, uninstall and re-install your Anti-Virus.

Webpage display issues: "This webpage is not available" (Network errors 2, 102, 104, and 105) Issue This message displays when Google Chrome is unable to find and load the requested web page.
Solutions Check your web address and Internet connection Double-check the URL in the address bar to make sure you're going to the right web address. If you've confirmed that you're going to the right web address, check whether you can open the same web page in another browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. If you can't see the web page in any browser, the web page may be temporarily down. You should also make sure you're properly connected to the Internet.
Check the error you're receiving If you can load the web page using another browser, but not Google Chrome, check the exact error you're getting by clicking the More information on this error link on the page. To disable the proxy run this from the command line or modify your shortcut to run chrome:

"C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --proxy-server
See here: http://tiny.cc/A2tST

Encountering this problem following your first restart after installing Privoxy (which requires changing G-Chrome's proxy settings).
If, after installing Privoxy, you elected not to have it load on system startup, manually re-loaded Privoxy. Simply reconfigure Privoxy to load on startup and the problem should be corrected.
