I want to operate a photocopy machine ( 115 V - 60 Hz) into ( 220 V - 50 Hz )

First of all, make sure that there is network interface card is installed in your photocopier.
If yes, then connect the network cable to the machine.
Then from the control panel of machine, Go to "Administrator Mode" Administrator Setting.
Press--Utility---then select "Admin Setting"
Now enter Admin Password=000000, press "OK"
Now go to "Network Settings" and Assign the IP address to the machine.
After assigning the IP address, install the relevant printer driver, (compatible with your operating system) You can also download the drivers from the internet.
During the installation of drivers, select "TCP/IP Port" This port is used for network printing.Enter the IP address of Photocopier in this port number.
After finishing the installation, your machine is ready for printing.

what you need to do is just resetting your machine. 1. Press * 28 * on your machine in a quick move. 2. Select copier 3. Select Err. 4. Select Clear then press O.K 5. Turn your machine off for 1 minute and turn it on again.
The error code will not be there anatmoreand your machine will be functioning well.

You shoulde be able to insert your document into the scanner section face down, close the lid and just press mono start or color start and it photocopy for you. as most of the printers now a days dont need a computer to operate hence why some are called standalone machines.

these machines required a program called pdl downloader to install software+ a special cable and the software has to be purchased from canon by a certified rep. I hate to say it but you need a tech.

Image unit code. new image unit required first try powering machine on then off. Does operator screen say Image unit needs rreplacing

unfortunately i don't have the manual for this machine but on others it's a communication problem with the chip on the toner cartridge.
if you use aftermarket/refilled toner you might have gotten a bad one.
did this error show up right after you changed toner?
