We have no hot water coming out of our bathtub faucet. We took it all apart and water is only coming our of the cold side of the pipe

there is probably a shutoff on the rough-in valve in the wall. Sometimes the seal in that comes apart and blocks the water. Get new stem for valve. Unscrew the nut, replace stem, tighten nut. Clean inside valve before u put new one in.

With the detailed part number you have, I would just walk into stores like Home Depot or any plumbing store and they will give you the exact parts you need. They are not expensive and a lot of them are standard parts and come in kits.
Good luck.

Hello,

What you need to do to solve the problem of your whirlpools is to trubleshoot it to resolve the problem your self.
Carefully apply the below instruction to solve the washer problem.

If your bathtub faucet leaks or performs poorly, there areways to troubleshoot the problem. A few common parts are most likely to wearout, so checking these reveals exactly what's wrong with the appliance. Thisrequires no specialized skill, and anyone who knows how to use a wrench willfind this project takes less than an hour. If you have no experience, giveyourself extra time.
1 Turn off the water to the faucet. Take offthe cap on top of the handle and remove the screw under the faucet cap with anAllen wrench. Take the handle off the faucet, pulling it away from the showerwall.
2 Remove the trim sleeve (also called a dome cap or bonnet). Simply turn itcounterclockwise and pull it off the faucet head.
3 Tighten the cartridge nut under the trim sleeve, replace the trim sleeve andhandle, and turn on the water. Test the faucet. Watch to see if the leak orproblem goes away. If not, remove the handle and trim sleeve.
4 Remove the retaining nut entirely. Turn it counterclockwise and pull it offthe faucet. Slide the cartridge out of the faucet and inspect the valve seals. If they're worn, replace the cartridge and reattach the retaining nut. Tightenwith a pliers or wrench.
5 Replace the trim sleeve and handle and turn on the water to test the faucet.
tools needed to carry out the work.

Thanks for uing fixya.

This sounds like a foreign object in the water line. Suspect areas START at the shut off valve.

Turn off the house water and inspect the washer in BOTH shutoffs, I suspect that you may find a chunk missing. Not always so easy to get the broken piece out of the faucet, but keep after it until you get it out. Sometimes you have to totally take everything apart....

My water bill was very high this month. How do I check the toilets to see if that's the problem and where else can I check? My faucets aren't dripping and my outside faucets aren't leaking. ...

open the tank to your toilet, flush it, then mark the water line. if the water drops then replace your flapper. if you have a ballcock type float it would be good to replace that with a fluidmaster fill valve. if the toilets dont seem to leaking then locate the water meter outside. open the lid and look at it and locate the indicator needle. if there is water running you will see a needle moving and if that is the case than there is a leak. next turn the water shutoff in the house off. look at the meter again and see if there is movement. if it is than your leak is on your service line. if it stops moving than good news no leak on the service line. if you still cannot locate the leak then let me know and i will go on about how to locate a difficult to locate leak.

Bathroom sink pipes came apart and flooded our bathroom. cant find shut off valve to sink

Hi, W/D here.
Almost always, the shutoff valves are at the wall where water is supplied to the faucet. If the problem is with the drain piping, and the faucet valves don't leak, you don't have to shut off the water. Simply replace the drain piping and tighten it up. If you need any repair parts, you can get them from any hardware store. Please repost if there is anything else that I can help you with.
Good luck, and best regards,
--W/D--
