Question about Krups XP4030 Espresso Machine

Open Question

I have a red nescafe dolce gusto machine, it heats water, it will dipsense nothing, how do i clean it if that is the problem, it has been used very little maybe for about 4 boxes of coffee pods at the most. it has made this an expensive cup of coffe. it is not making any noise, just heating and nothing else, nothing appears to be broken.

The website for this product is here. Just under the top picture of the machine is a link to download the manual if you didn't get it when you bought the machine. There's a customer service number at the back of the manual. They should be able to tell you how to get any parts you need.

I'm not familiar with that model but oftentimes programming the quantity of water will involve pressing and continuing to hold the button down until the desired quantity of water has been dispensed. Next time you press and release the button and it should stop when that same quantity is in the cup because you holding the button last time has programmed it for that amount.

This is normal you have an air lock all most all new machens do that fill the water tank and only run water fro the cold side don't use the hot run water for 5seconds at a time it should the job

Without taking the device apart and examining it, it's impossible to know why it's not functioning properly. You will have to take it to a repair shop, and have them inspect it, give you an estimate for the repair, and then see if you want to pay that much for fixing it. IF the item is fairly new and under warranty, AND you have proof-of-purchase, you can return the item to the store where you bought it, and either they will give you a NEW replacement, or a full refund. If they do NOT do that, and your device is under warranty, you can call KRUPPS directly on their 1-800 toll-free number and for SURE they will take care of your problem.

Green light will not come on. red light continues flashing

I have experience in Dolce Gusto melody 3. I think that means that the machine warms up the heater. If it continues giving red flasher, i expect that no electricity reaches to the heater or there is something wrong with the heater sensor. In my machine there is Triac (BTB08-600CW) that drives the heater. Please check and show us what is happen.

When I turn on my Dolche Gusto machine, red light goes to green ok but when I move the handle for hot water, nothing happens. Please advise.

You should have a unblocking tool. If not jst use a needle to clean the nozzle. Dont keep trying to run it while its blocked as you may burn out the motor and you may have already. Hope this helps.

My brand new nescafe dolce gusto does not work. there is no water coming out.

If you're getting a "no water" error message then you need to "prime" the machine by either:

1. Fulling the tank with water and leave it in the machine for 2 hours at least.
2. Re-seat the water tank about 70-80 times to get the bubbles out and the water flowing.
