Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
Sound is garbled.
Go here http://www.acerpanam.com/flex/acerdrivers/bin/drivers.html?CFID=3400939&CFTOKEN=29928692
choose notebook, your model, look for the Realtek Audio Driver. There are two there so i would say download both. Uninstall your sound card drivers in control panel -> system -> hardware -> Device Manager. And then install one of the drivers if it doesnt work do the it all again but then install the other driver.
Hopefully that will work. If not some audio/ripping/music-player type software you have installed is causing a conflict.
