Dear,

Power Supply 100–240VAC, 50–60Hz
Power Consumption 232W max.
Its mean its a switching supply that can support as low as 100 and more as 240VAC
If there is a problem with supply and you want to attach a fix one then Check the MAINS at your area. If it is 110VAC then get it and if its 220VAC then use the supply for this kind of support

good luck..........

Can I use other power supply adapters?

Not unless the plugs are identical AND the + and - (polarity of voltage) and the voltage and amperage rating of the adapters are the same--

HINT: test the voltage of the bad one at the point where it connects to the set and also do not forget that the socket it plugs into could be broken loose.

Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out Q7 and ZD4.

I have a protron pltv3250 32 in lcd television and i need to know were i can get a power supply for it the help would be greatfull thanks

Very common problem with this TV for the power supply module to go out.
Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out Q7 and ZD4.

Protron 32

It looks like the power supply failed on your TV. The failure rate is about 95% in the power module.
There aren't service parts available to swap the entire assembly, the only option now will be to fix the power supply to the component level.

funny that no one's been able to help you, because I accidentally discovered that the power supply cord for my computer worked for my Protron PLTV-32C lcd...  not sure if your model is different in someway, but you may want to try the cord from your own PC first,
and if it works.
