I would recommend you to buy Canon PowerShot SX210IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 14x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD. Decidedly slim and sleekly refined, the PowerShot SX210 IS packs a feature set that reads like a wish list. The 14.1 Megapixel CCD joins a 14x 28mm Wide-Angle Zoom for imaging power to spare. Frame your shots in the bright 3.0-inch widescreen PureColor System LCD, with the Low Light mode for sharp images in dimly-lit situations. It also captures stunning HD movies with Dynamic mode for enhanced image stabilization when shooting movies using wide-angle settings. Capture smooth HD video (720p) with stereo sound for a truly natural, high-quality HD experience. The PowerShot SX210 IS not only goes wherever you do, but takes your photography and video to a whole new place, too. Are you asking about the life of the camera, the life of the batteries, or the capacity of the memory card?

The number of pictures you can fit on a memory card obviously depends on the size of the memory card. It also depends on the image size and quality settings on the camera. Even with the largest size and highest quality, an 8GB card will easily hold more than a thousand pictures.

The batteries should last for a couple of hundred pictures, though that depends on factors such as how much you use the flash and how much time you spend reviewing pictures already taken.

In normal care the camera should last three years, though most manufacturers seem to be introducing point&shoot cameras with a product cycle between one and two years.

I have a samsung l301 camera but have lost my disc how can i still upload my picture to my computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as the free Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

What does format mean on a samsung l301 camera?

Formatting is erasing the memory card and preparing it to take new photos. If you haven't saved the photos to your computer yet, you will need to find a memory card utility that "rescues" data (pictures, in this case) from a card. You can go to your card manufacturers (Kingston, Sandisk, or whatever your brand is) website and find a suggestion for what utility they suggest.

If you had them saved to your computer, no worries, just start taking pictures again!

Vertical collapse

I think L301 is an inductor coil supplying B+ voltage to the vertical output IC, also a diode and resistor are associated with this circuit. Most likely the vertical IC has shorted causing L301 to open up. The diode could also be shorted. Stargazer
