If you have not installed a drive on the Fasttrack (RAID) controller yet, that is normal. Fasttrack controller BIOS get loaded only when a drive is attached to the controller.

If you want to get rid of the message, without installing a drive on the RAID, go to computer bios and disable other boot devices.

If that is not your problem, and the controller simply does not see the drive, then you may need to reinstall SCSI drivers.
In that case follow indications here.

No video signal on boot and after it

First: Check to make sure that your monitor is plugged into the correct video port. Quite often people (unwittingly) plug it into the onboard video out rather than the video card's port.

Secondly: Make sure that the card is seated properly in the PCI Express port or AGP port (though if it's a new computer it's a PCI Express port X16)

Thirdly, if both of these are correct and you're getting no signal and the computer is powering on with out beep codes signaling, your new card may not be, activated in the bios, so switch to the on board output (if you have one, I'm presuming you do as most new motherboards come with one) and go into the bios and activate the port, the video card might be DOA and I'd RMA or return it to the person you purchased it from.

If you can't tell it's a dead card, I'd test it in another system. If it doesn't start in that system it's a bad card, if it does, it's a setting issue in your bios.

To get into the bios you need to press the correct keys; each manufacture has it's own method. On most desktop computers it's hitting either the F2 key or the F10/11 key on start up. On some Asus and Acer computers it's hitting Escape on startup.

If you can get into the OS and it's detecting the card, but you have to go through the onboard video card. You may need to enable the card in windows. Especially if you're running Windows XP or earlier.

In this case go to control panel-device manager- find your video card under Display Devices or Display Adapters, right click on the new video card and check that their are no problems detected. If in Windows Vista through Windows 8 you can run the built in troubleshooter to detect hardware issues.

I'd also check to make sure you installed the correct drivers for your computer. Most new computers today are 64 bit, if you installed 32 bit drivers you could have compatibility issues.

Without further details on your computer's build, age, and what processor you're using as well as the video card you're installing I can't tell you much more.

If it is a high end video card, as in a 400-700 dollar range you may have to attach an independent power connection to the power supply. Further still, if your power supply isn't supplying enough power to the system with the new card installed, you may need a different power supply.

I hope this answers your questions and gives you away to troubleshoot your problem.

Cannot detected controller to install firmware

The error you describe is a bios error. No drivers in the os will help.
Maybe you can find a bios update that will support that controller, or maybe not. You may need a different raid controller that is properly supported by your bios.

Disk drive disapeared

Check the BIOS to see if the hard disk is detected, if not open the case and re-seat the data cable on the hard drive and also where it connects to the motherboard disk controller.
If it still gives this error message and the BIOS does not detect this hard drive, then the hard drive is probably faulty.

To get the computer operating again, install a new hard drive in your computer and then install Windows on this hard drive plus the computer's device drivers and your programs.

What should i do to get my sound device and controller?

Hi riteshscorpi,

Since you have a multimedia audio controller or Sound Card installed to your motherboard, reboot your PC and enter the CMOS/BIOS setup and disable the Onboard Audio.
Save your new settings.
The PC should immediately detect your Sound Card and ask for driver.
Install the Sound Card driver completely and reboot your PC.
Finally, configure the Audio properties to your desired adjustments.

Hope this helps you a lot.

Thank you for using FixYa!

I unable to play a game because VGA compatible device not found in my computer & i want to install this. How can i install this explain it? & i am using XP

VGA compatible device not found represents that either your bios couldnt recognize the VGA hardware or your OS pnp service couldnt initialize the Hardware for VGA. Either these cases, we should look for the level of Hardware detection at which it fails. If its an onboard VGA device, you may need to replace it with an addon VGA card based on the Mother Board compatibility and then try install it again. This should solve the issue.

Good Luck.
