Dear sir, my motherboard is amd athlon 64 socket 939.when i on the system then system is running but processor fan is not rotating. Finally after 25-30 minutes it automatically turned of and displays cpu...

It sounds like the cpu's temperature is raising over the safety level set in the bios so it switches off and displays the error!
to solve this either:

Your cpu cooler fan needs replacing

or

Your current cooler fan isn't connected to the correct socket on your board (check you're user manual, usually a .pdf you can download from manufacturers site)

or

Just try connecting your current cooler fan to the cpu and see if it turns on at all. If not make sure you replace it with one that is compatible with your system that can fit in your case

If the temperature has raised to a significant level the thermal paste could probably use replacing also, so get some thermal paste remover and thermal paste, and read in your motherboard user manual how to replace the cpu heat sink safely.

Computer overheating

Check the machine for dust, and us canned air to move it out. Make sure that your fans spin upon powering on your machine. Fan controllers can be downloaded to help boost fan speed and cool the machine. Make sure you're not placing the laptop on anything preventing airflow, like carpet or blankets.

The answer to your first question is yes, your computer is compatible with the MAC OS. However it is very important to continue to ask this question to the MAC Salesperson you deal with when purchasing the software.

The answer to your second question is to do with Heat. Your computer is overheating and is therefore slowing down so it does not fry your CPU. You need to ensure that the Processor Heat sink is making proper contact with the CPU and the fan is connected to the computer main board. Clean the computer of all dust and install as many fans as your computer chassis will allow.
I think this chassis supports up to 80mm fans.

A well cooled computer chassis will work efficiently and effectively.

The Cooler Master Geminii S CPU cooler is a very good CPU cooler for your Processor.
It will reduce the temperature of your Processor by several degrees.

It is very important to get as much, cooler fresh air into your computer chassis as possible. As this will mean that your computer system will run at a far cooler temperature.

Nx6115 powers on but shuts off after a minute. litteraly shuts off

Hi.

This is caused by the fan and cooling system.
Disassemble your laptop, remove the fan cooler, clean it up, replace the paste on top of your processor, tighten and screw the cooler fan again.

power up your laptop and good luck

My Dell Dimension 5150 has always had a loud fan but it has gotten significantly worse over the past two weeks. It now sounds like I am at the World Cup! I believe I have traced the noise to the fan in...

No. You can take apart the power supply, detach the fan, clean it, clean the power supply(capacitors, core), put it together and see if it makes the same sound.
Also check the fan of the CPU cooler, you may have to clean that too. But be careful when you remove the cooler from the CPU. You will need silica paste to protect the core of the processor. You can find it in small 5 grams packs. Clean the back of the cooler and the processor with some medicinal alcohol, let them dry and then put them back. Do not forget about the paste. It is a very important component in order to keep the processor at a decent temperature.
Also check if the graphics card has a fan. If so, clean it too.
Put everything back and it should work perfectly.
If you need further assistance, or have further questions, just leave a comment. Thank you for using FixYa. Cheers

A noisey or ineffcient Fan.
The fan can some times be replaced, consult your computer shop. This CPU cooler is for a AMD socket 462 if I am not mistaken.
Remove the fan from the heatsink.
Clean it with a paintbrush and dust it out.
Carefully peel back the sticker containing the fan information, this is the sticker that would otherwise be invisable when it was installed on the CPU cooler.
Using light oil, Q20 and the red nozel, spray a drop on the exposed sharft.
Then put the sticker back on the fan.
Please remember to clean the heatsink and to apply the thermal interface paste correctly as these processors can burn out in less than 5 seconds.
Reassemble the CPU cooler.

Please rate this solution it is the thumbs up on the right hand side of this solution.
Thanks

You must replace the processor cooler with something like
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4502178&CatId=1588
and add a case cooler which will plug in the Aux power connector (that looks just like the power connector for the processor cooler).

Hi Jharper91,
There is no easy way to explain how to remove your Intel® Pentium® 4 processor with out some pictures. Intel does have a site showing how to install. Once you understand how to install you'll be able to remove. Try looking through this link from Intel.
http://www.intel.com/support/processors/pentium4/sb/CS-007988.htm
Newer Intel Pentium 4 processor use 4 plastic pins to hold the retention clip onto the board. To remove them you will need to lift the motherboard out of the case. Using a needle-nose plier to squeeze the plastic ends together & pop-out the plastic pins.

The north bridge can be glued onto the chipset & have
2 pins bent inwards on themselves. Bend them in and push them through. If glued, use a hair dryer to heat the cooler, thus making the glue soften. Each board can & do use different methods to hold coolers to the chipset's. You might want to keep in mind the total db of adding a bunch of coolers. It may get very noisy for you.

I hope you find this helpful.
If I can help you more just post you're question's here.
Good Luck Jharper91!

Mike
