Question about Microsoft Zune JS8-00001 Digital Media Player
Have a white microsoft zune 30gb since november.
most of its time is spent in a speaker dock/charger thing made especially for it (the iHome model). Halfway through playing a song, for no apparent reason, it reset and continued to reset over over again. when i unplug it, it will not turn on it just flashes the zune logo for a couple of seconds and dies again.
Any ideas? As i live in ireland and the zune isn't launched here yet, the chances of me getting a proper service repair are slim to none.
dont reccommend buying a zune by the way. ever.
The Zune flashes like that because it doesn't get any supporting power from the battery. Power from the USB cord is not enough to fire it up, usually a battery replacement will get it up and running again. There is a zune repair guide online that shows how to replace the battery.

Did you try a reset?
Did you try a restore?
