You should either take your phone to a mobile repair shop and have the OS reflash or you could try doing that yourself........

Keyboard and mouse not working

is your mouse and keyboard wireless?

If so your connection may not be set up right.

If your keyboard and mouse are wired with USB port plugs then you could have either a faulty cord or USB ports in your system. Try using the keyboards on another PC and see what happens. Also you cannot connect a keyboard and mouse after the system has booted into windows and expect it to work. Either way your system will think nothing is attached until you reboot. Try this out and see what happens.

Our mouse is jumping all over the place. Have removed the ball, cleaned, new batteries, etc. What else can we do. If there is nothing else, how can we keep our wireless keyboard connected but use a regular...

With a ball mouse the parts to clean are the two small spindles inside the mouse (they usually have little gears on the end of them). They run at 90 degrees to each other and over time dirt and grease build up on them. It can be quite difficult to remove. Scrape it off with a cocktail stick or similar - you will need to turn the spindle as you do this to completly remove dirt on all sides of the spindle.

My keyboard does not work, the trackball scrolls but none of the buttons work. What can I do?

Did it get wet at all? If so, there is an area under the track ball that is very sensitive to humidity. Cleaning that area with a brush to remove any of residue that may have remained after letting the phone dry can sometime get it up and running again. If you're out of warranty try to remove the trackball and clean the area below it if necessary. There is a Blackberry Repair Guide that shows how to open a Blackberry and remove the track ball yourself.

My blackberry will not allow me to perform any functions

Check to see if the phone is on Line 1 or Line 2...

- Hit the green button (send button)
- Your recent call log will be listed
- At the top of the screen it should say line 1 or line 2 then the phone number that is associated with the line
- If it is not the correct line then scroll up to highlight it and click your track ball to change it

... If this does not work then you need to contact your service provider to see what it going on with your phone :o)
