Question about Standard Horizon Cpv550 Gps Chartplotter With Vhf
I'm considering adding to my new Autohelm 7000 (sailboat) the following. Which multiplexor will handle the (Black box) AIS demands as well as the flux gate compass so I can have chart overlays on the Standard Horizon cpv550 with the Sixtex Mds-8 radar?
ActiSense makes a programmable multiplexer that should do this for you. It is called an ActiSense NDC4 USB. Not sure is the Standard requires a separate compass signal, but if not, and the Standard can use a standard 38000 baud AIS data stream, the NDC4 will work for you. 847-746-0100
