I bought brand new cartidges for my printer and somehow it will not print

Try to turn the printer off and then back on. The printer needs to recycle some ink before it could print. Also try to access the printer maintenance from the control panel. check there if you can see any information regarding new ink being loaded. Lastly, try to take out the ink cartridge and put it back in. Make sure that you place it back properly.

This really happens, sometimes ink cartridges has factory defects. If you purchased it in a local computer store, you could ask for a replacement. I work as a technical support from dell, and if customer complains the ink cartridge they bought doesnt work, we immediately replace it. No further questions asked.
