Lexmark printer driver

I have the X1150 Lexmark series All In One Printer. I need to download a printer driver that is comparable to window vista. Can you help me?

i got identical model of lexmark printer with mari.......igot the cd for driver but my vista doesn't accept it...........say's that it is not a digital made compatible for my compu.....i tried to install and uninstall and reinstall but nothing's done........hope to send me some solutions........anthonee

you seem to have already tried this but make sure that you are using the driver for the right vista (you more than likely have the 32 bit which will just be listed as Vista) but when you download it save it to the desktop and then when you double click it to run it and it gives you the option to run updates dont do it. it can mess up the install and cause complications later but it isnt nessecary. Hope this helps

Hi,
Sorry to hear you are experiencing that problem. The Lexmark x1150 is actually discontinued. So there is no driver for Windows 8. You can try downloading the Windows Vista driver. If that does not work then you should go to Add Printer on your computer and choose the USB connection. Then it will show you makes and models of printers. Choose Lexmark and then for model look for x1150. If that is not there then choose any one of the AIO models, your printer will work. Good luck!

Hello. Before installing the driver for Vista, you need to uninstall the XP driver first by going to Start Menu > All Programs/ Programs > Lexmark Series folder > Uninstall. Restart the computer. Also, check if your computer is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by going to Start Menu > right click on Computer > Properties. You can download the Vista driver on this link: http://bit.ly/bmvu8D . Click on the Microsoft dropdown found below the page. Choose Windows Vista for 32-bit or Windows Vista x64 for 64-bit. Download and install the software. Hope this helps.

How lexmark x1150 is compatible with windows vista

Your printer is compatible, you need to download and install updated software, see here: Windows Vista Compatibility Lexmark Lexmark X1150

Also unplug printer usb cable before installing drivers, and start installer file using right mouse button click, and then the option 'Run as administrator. Also disable antivirus/firewall before installing.

Hi,

I'm not aware of any download of the full install CD, but to use the rpinter with Vista all you should need is the Vista driver for your model.

You can get that here, but you'll need to enter your model number and choose Vista as the driver type first.

X1150 Lexmark printer purchased with imac - need to install without disk

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
Follow driver installation wizard.
Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.
