Question about HP 417035-001 - HP Pavilion dv2000 Series Laptop Full Featured Intel Chipset Motherboard
Hi, i have an HP Pavilion dv2000 & it had recent motherboard problems, so I had it repaired in the HP Service Center. They replaced the motherboard & so far, everything was okay until yesterday. The screen display turned to black and when it restarted, the screen tiled up into 6 different screens and it says windows is unable to start. After several restarts, it displayed an error message saying: '' display drivers stopped working & recovered sucessfully'' then the laptop restarts again, returning to its normal state. After a few minutes of using it, it happens again. What should I do?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Yes, the GPU is faulty. either replace the systemboard or reflow the GPU. Second option is cheaper and you can do it yourself. There's a link for a diy guide to fix that issue.
does your screen look like this?
