All these connectors are available for purchase at any Sound (car)installation store. They will try to talk you into having one of their techs come out but that isn't necessary. Thank you, Dana

How to take the radio out and replace it with a cd player

hello, depending on your particular vehicle,as there are a few different ways to remove the radio fitted as standard, but most are usually removed from the dashboard with a 'radio removal' tool,a specially formed thin hooks that are inserted in to the left and right of the radio through tiny slot's,and pressed outwards to unclip the 'locking' mechanism that prevents unwanted removal.fitting a cd player is quite easy,as you can normally get a standard ISO adapter that will fit in to your car's original wiring plug, and then you just simply plug the other end in to your cd player, but you may have to specify to a local radio stockist of your specific vehicle and year of manufacture,as there are quite a few different adapters available, failing that,an auto electrician can usually fit a car radio in about 15 minutes, often without a wiring diagram,so can be quite cost effective to enlist the work to a specialist.hope that helps, cheers.

I have a renault espace 2.2dt, 1998. Can i fit a Parrot CK3100 Handsfree Kit Bluetooth kit? if so how?

yes you can , depending on what kind of stereo system is in the car, you will need an iso adapter lead that allows your parrot to be connected in between your car audio and power connectors and the car stereo,Similar to this

You need a SOT ISO lead you can check for an installation guide here

How to wire my parrot ck3100 into a sprinter van can u give me the wiring diag as i dont have any connectors on my parrot kit as its from my old car im having trobule with the mute wires and speaker...

First, you will have to know if the vehicle has a facra or an iso norme build in it.

If it is a Facra, the wires to wires install is still possible but complicated and will necesarly need to get the diagram. Especially if the vehicle has an amplified system build in it. Or maybe optic fiber somewhere in the vehicle.

The vehicle has maybe an mute included into the autoradio, then the hot question you have is about the existing cable harness existing.

In that case I will advising you to get in touch with the manufacturer of the kit to get informed.

Does anyone know which wire is the mute wire on a Toyota Rav 4 2003. Trying to fit a handsfree parrot into it. Thanks

I think there is no wire called mute wire. Mute can be applied only through the device.

Just fitted parrot mki 9200 into a vito van and nothing happened how do you switch it on

You need to add a ignition wire, the vito uses the can bus to turn the radio on. The glove box light is on an ignition. also you may need to change over the perm live and the ignition wire on the parrot iso loom. you can do this at the fuses.

Up grade 1988 camry radio

Yes, you can.  This is a standard "DIN" opening.  Width and height are specified; but not depth.  The plastic empty space tray immediately below the radio - actually make this a "2 Din space"

If you are electrically savy - carefully remove the black trim bezel (two hidden fasteners in the middle section and a couple at the bottom; and a hidden white plastic tab buried way in the back at the bottom - need a long screwdriver to release - accessed only after removing the ash-tray...

I am not aware of any pre-existing wire harness adapter...

Electrically savy - get the above out -  and then measure the available depth.  You can get several molex connectors from Radio Shack, and cut the current wires - and put connectors on them - so that you can reconnect the original factory radio easily.  Unplug those, and make molex fittings going to the wiring for your new radio connecting to the molex you put on the factory wiring.

I'm currently looking at putting in a satellite navigation radio with screen, dvd player, etc. into my 1988 Camry which I've owned since new.  Only new car we ever bought....  Good luck.
