Wireless controller

I'm assuming you are having trouble connecting your wireless controller to the Wii.

Note: Make sure you have placed batteries in the Wii Remote.

  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.
  2. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up, and press the SYNC button just below the batteries. The Player LED will blink.
  3. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press the SYNC button on the inside of the compartment.
  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 to 4).

Hi there

you have the sync error

This needs to be repaired.

you can send the console to Nintendo for free if in warranty, if out of warranty then this will cost you around $150, the whole process will take 4-6 weeks

I prefer the Wii repair guide Method, download the guide and follow the simple step by step instructions and fix the problem in less than an hour, no hassle, low cost everybody is happy.

My second wii controller has a rechargable battery pack in it but it wont work it flashes blue but wont set to second player , ive removed the pack and placed new batteries inside but still no sucess...

It's not a battery problem, it needs to connect to your Wii. It's really picky about this for some reason.
First step, turn your wiimote around and take off the lid, where you'd see the batteries. In it you'll find a really small red button.
Second step, go to your wii and find a small panal in the front, next to where you put your CD in. There should be a red button there too.
While your Wii is on, point your wiimote to it and press those two buttons at the same time. Hold it down and just wait several moments. If it doesn't work, than press the buttons a few times to see if that'll get it to work. Again if it's stubborn, reboot your wii and try again.

Wii remote is not charging. I have 2 remotes, one of them does not charge. Basically, when I charge it, it charges for a few seconds then it turns to the green light (meaning it's done charging) so it...

If you have had the "battery" for a long time, it could be that it can no longer carry a charge. Rechargeable batteries' charge grow shorter over time. If you still use the Wii/Wii U regularly, I suggest rechargeable AA batteries+charger (If you don't have them already). AA batteries work in other devices so even if you stop using the Wii, the batteries will still work in remote controls, clocks, flashlights etc unlike a WiiMote Battery pack.

I brought a retro controller for my wii, but i cant get it to work. does it only work on certian games or all the games? if so why isnt it working?

Not all games work with the classic controller. To see if yours do look on the back of the cover in the top right corner a picture of a classic controller will be there if the game is compatible.

When new batteries have been put in both controllers of the wii, indicator lights supposed to indecate power level of batteries instead of which all blue lights flash then stop and nothing happens, no...

If all the lights are coming on then going off again the controller needs to be synched with the wii. Once it is synchronized after all the indicator lights flash one should stay on indicating which player you are (1 -4)
To synch a controller to the wii:
Make sure the wii is in
Open the battery cover on the wiimote
Open the front panel of the wii
Press the synch button on the console
Press the red synch button on the wii mote
Should work for you.

Wii consoles not working

Hold in the power button on the Wii console for about six seconds until it powers off. The light on the power button should turn red after you do this, not amber. Press the power button again to boot the Wii.

9 out of 10 times this fixes all weird issues. If you simple power it down to the amber light, it's not actually off, so you really aren't getting a "cold" reboot.

Good luck.
