Most likely you have the common power supply aka high voltage transformer failure. Especially in newer tv's. Parts are made cheaper and faster. If you have a fuse in there, take a look at it, if blown, replace it. If it's good or you don't see one, Then I would put my bet on bad supply/transformer.

My dishwasher (Model # FDB520RHB0) is not quite 2 years old. We had the water pump replaced a few months ago because it had been making a grinding noise. Then we tried to run it a few days ago and it...

Did you check the outlet with a voltmeter? If you did and have 120Volts then it sounds like your latch switch could be defective which would kill the power to the unit.

But remember that in most houses that the outlet under the sink is wired for a garbage disposal where the top outlet is controled by a switch and the bottom one is wired for the dishwasher.

I was cooking food for 1 minute and it just shut off after approx. 30 sec. There are no lights or power now. The outlet is fine. The unit is 4 yrs old.

Check your other appliance. You may have tripped a break. If they are all functioning, and you have no dead outlets in your kitchen, then the unit will need to be serviced. Hope it's the breaker.
a 1200w microware will draw 10 amps all by itself. Your outlets are most likely on 15 amp breakers, so it wouldn't take much amp draw from another kitchen appliance to trip the breaker.

Maytag MGR series double oven gas burner trips GFI outlet. There is no direct shorts. Would work when bypassed GFI. but not for long. Now nothing and gfi replaced. Stove fried last one. Stove running for...

the manufacturer recommends a 15 amp time delay breaker or fuse. Which means to me that a GFI outlet will not work on this unit. most of the time it just causes more problems than it is worth? I would only use those type of outlets if code required it.

Freezer freezes and then thaws

check wiring into outlet and at breaker that feeds outlet. you may be losing high volts at or to the switch. if possible check power into the stat when the condition occurs. this will telll you if stat is bad or power into it aka the outlet is bad. you may be jiggling wires in the outlet enough to fix short term each time you replug to outlet or get a good heavy extension cord and plug in else where to seee if problem goes away.Good luck

Power accessory outlet for 2005 Honda CRV

I have (had) a 2006 CR-V with the same problem. The identified fuse for the outlet (#18) was not blown. However, there is a fuse identified as "+BR ACC" (fuse #15) that was blown. Both are 15AMP fuses located in the fuse box under the steering column. Replaced the #15 fuse and the outlet is working just fine.
